Description
The Auditorium in the Digital Library/Learning Resource
Center is district facility in support of instructional programs, which
contains presentation technology, teleconferencing capabilities and
interactive multimedia equipment. The room is located on the 1st floor
of the Digital Library in Room 121, and has seating capacity for 198.
Requirements
Due to the complicated nature of the integrated technology
in the Auditorium the individual responsible for operating the equipment
in the room must be trained on the use of instructional equipment by
IMC staff prior to the event.
Reservations
Making a reservation for an event is a two-step process:
1. Schedule the Room: The Facilities
Office makes reservations for the use of the Auditorium in the Digital
Library. Reservations are made on a first come, first served basis,
so it is important to submit your request as far in advance as possible.
A minimum of two (2) weeks advance notice is required. Individuals who
wish to schedule the Auditorium must contact Facilities at (951) 222-8498
in order to complete a Facility Request Form. Please indicate all requested
media services and equipment on the form. Media services may include
equipment operation, videoconferencing, and media production. Be sure
to list equipment that will be used in the course of the event. Keep
in mind that IMC support is only available during normal business hours.
2. Sign up for Training: Due to the
complex and expensive nature of the technology in the Auditorium extensive
training will be required for those individuals who will be operating
equipment within the room. The Instructional Media Center offers training
sessions on the use of technology in the Auditorium. Advance reservations
are required. Please contact George "Tony" Brucks, Instructional Media
Assistant, at 951-222-8193 for dates/times and to RSVP for a training
session, or to register online for training and qualify for FLEX credit,
please go to FLEXtrack: http://www.flextrack.org/.

The Telemeeting Room in the Digital Library/Learning
Resource Center is a room for district use, which contains presentation
technology, teleconferencing capabilities and interactive multimedia
equipment. The room is located on the 4th floor of the Digital Library
in Room 409, and has seating capacity for 20.
Requirements
Due to the complicated nature of the integrated technology
in the Telemeeting room any individuals who will be operating equipment
in the room must be trained on the use of instructional equipment by
IMC staff prior to the meeting.
Reservations
Making a reservation for an event is a two-step process:
1. Schedule the Room: The Office of
the President makes reservations for the use of the Telemeeting (Room
409) in the Digital Library. Reservations are made on a first come,
first served basis, so it is important to submit your request as far

contact Ruth Adams, Administrative Assistant, at (951) 222-8800. All

Description
The Multimedia Classroom in the Digital Library/Learning
Resource Center is a room for district use, which contains presentation
technology, teleconferencing capabilities and interactive multimedia
equipment. The room is located on the 1st floor of the Digital Library
in Room 108, and has 48 student computer workstations and 1 instructor
computer workstation.
Requirements
Due to the complicated nature of the integrated technology
in the Multimedia Classroom and the high demand for a facility containing
this level of technological sophistication, the following criteria must
be met in order to make a reservation:
- The event must have a multimedia component requiring
the use of computer workstations and/or presentation or teleconferencing
equipment.
- The individual responsible for operating the equipment
in the room must be trained on the use of instructional equipment
by IMC staff prior to the event.
